Contact Us for Additional Information
Deer Valley Home Health would like to take time out to address some of your concerns regarding the recent call for the “state of emergency” due to the COVID-19 spread. While this is a first of its kind for many of us, rest assured we are taking every practical measure to ensure the safety of the community we serve, our employees and vendors. We are following the direction of local, state and federal guidelines as well as the latest information from the Center of Disease Control. To help us achieve our goal, listed are a few basic guidelines.

Deer Valley Home Health Services provides our staff with gloves and masks to be worn in our clients homes.   Our staff are educated on how to properly put on (don) and take off (doff) personal protective equipment (PPE).   Isolation gowns are provided when needed.   Our office staff wears masks and practices social distancing.

Follow Universal Precautions

Please make sure you are always following universal precautions! This includes wearing gloves at appropriate intervals (when providing personal care, when touching unclean surfaces and touching soiled linen) and practice frequent handwashing. Hand sanitizer also can be used, but this should not replace hand washing. If your hands are visibly dirty, use the hand washing technique.

Practice Social Distancing

Practice distancing when appropriate and educate on minimizing visitors in the home. This will help lessen the risk of exposure

Stay Home When You're Sick

Do not come to work if you are ill! Employees may be asked to go to the emergency room/ urgent care for further evaluation.

Clean Regularly

Clean high frequently used areas aggressively and appropriately.

Cover Your Cough or Sneeze

If coughing or sneezing, be sure to cough or sneeze in your elbow or a tissue. Perform hand hygiene afterwards.
