Personal Caregivers in
the Greater St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri Areas

About Our Founder
Mrs. Ada Taylor
Deer Valley Home Health Services was established in 2005 by Ada Joyce Taylor, affectionately known as Lady Ada. Ada Taylor, the dynamic founder and owner of Deer Valley Home Health Services and Ol’Henry Restaurant, was born in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1952 and has been leaving her mark on the city ever since! Possessing a heart to serve, it was no surprise that Mrs. Taylor’s career path led to nursing, an award winning teaching career, and home health administration.
In 2005, Mrs. Taylor was led to start Deer Valley Home Health Services out of her home. She started with 2 clients and her keen business sense, coupled with her heart for the elderly and disabled, has caused that number to catapult to well over 1000 clients. Now with 3 locations in North County, Olivette and Kansas City, Missouri, Deer Valley is continuing it's legacy of the leader in home health services. In 2014, to celebrate the legacy of her late husband, Chef Henry Taylor, Mrs. Taylor established Ol’Henry Restaurant, where the food is “Taylor” made.
Lady Ada's leadership style, resourcefulness and generosity to the community prompted two organizations to recognize her as Business Woman of the Year, among many other accolades. In 2020, she established Deer Valley Hospice Care and now provides a continuum of care from infants to the transition from life.
The Importance of Community
The transition to an Assisted Living Facility can be very stressful. Although many facilities offer a home-like setting, there’s nothing that can replace “home” and all the memories that have been made there. With home care, your loved one will be able to stay within their local community and stay with their friends and family.
The familiar surroundings and the presence of friends and family is very beneficial and comforting and can be less stressful than the more “structured” environment of an assisted living facility.
Providing Positive Experiences
Here at Deer Valley Home Health Services, we appreciate that the service we are providing is so much more than just a product. This is why we are committed to providing exceptional customer service. We will listen closely to you and your loved ones' needs and solve any problems as soon as they arise.

Cost Effective
Here in the USA, we have a rapidly aging population. The amount of people over 85 is rising rapidly. We feel that this, combined with the rising cost of healthcare, means there needs to be more cost-effective options available. We believe we can provide this through viable home care options.
